This option resets any file and record lock flags which may have been left 'in use' by any operator performing an illegal exit from the module (such as turning their terminal off whilst editing an accrual record), or leaving their terminal logged in during the End-of-Day.
Warning: It is imperative that this option is only run once all legal users have been logged out of the system. Failure to do this may result in genuine file or record locks being removed, and the subsequent corruption of files that might ensue.
When you select the program from the System Maintenance menu a form is displayed showing the buttons Exit, Help, Reset and Company.
Click the Exit button to quit to the System maintenance menu without performing the verification.
Click the Reset button to execute the reset process, unlocking any locked files or records concerned.
Click the Company button to invoke a choose a company window. You can inform the Autoline to Reset in use flags for a specific company here by selecting the appropriate company number and clicking the OK button.
Clicking the Cancel button returns you to the Reset in use flags form.
