This option checks the integrity of the two data files within the Accruals module from a Unix perspective, checking aspects such that the number of records in the index is the same as the number of records in the data area, and the free record chain is intact, etc.
When the program is selected from the System Maintenance Menu a form is displayed with the buttons Exit, Help, Verify and Company:
Click the Exit button to return you to the System Maintenance without performing the verification.
Click the Verify button to execute the file verification process, rebuilding any free record chains or index areas that may be necessary. When completed you are returned to the System Maintenance menu.
Click the Company button to inform your computer to invoke a choose a company window. You can inform the computer to Verify files for a specific company here by selecting the appropriate company number and clicking the OK push button.
Clicking the Cancel button returns you to the Verify files form.
