The Verify files form is displayed when the Verify files option is selected from the DD SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu.
This option does not verify the financial integrity of the Franchise Data, but rather the database structure of all the files used in the Franchise Data part of the database. This option is used to verify that all files within the franchise data module are in tact and that no corruption has occurred.
Tip: This option should be run every day and is generally performed as part of a more general function of verifying all files by the system manager when running the End-of -Day.
Buttons:
Exit: Returns you to the SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu.
Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.
Verify: Begins verifying.
Company: When the Company button is clicked, it invokes a dialog box which asks you to enter a Company, which consists of two characters.
Note: It is extremely useful to carry out this routine after a hardware or software fault has occurred.
