System Parameters

The system parameters are used for importing data from third parties like David Henley, CAP and Glasses Guide.

The following system parameters are available:

Country code: Select the country code from the list. You can click on the Down Arrow drop down menu to make your selection.

Commercial vehicle style: Use to determine if the vehicle is a commercial vehicle when doing an import.

Henley update colour/trim options: If this check box is unset, the import will not be allowed to create or change any of the installed colour and trim options.

Henley import processes current variants only: If this check box is set you will be allowed to process current variants only. Do not import data for old variants.

Use margins: If this check box is ticked the Salespersons margins are imported.

Henley import generates option categories: If this check box is set, then the import will generate option categories.

Franchise data Import directory: The PC directory containing the file to be imported

Vehicle stock type: This must be set to either CRM or Vehicle Stockbooks. Click on the Down Arrow dropdown menu, select from the list below:

  • M CRM
  • V Vehicle stockbooks
  • System Mode: This option defines what system mode you are running, click on the Down Arrow dropdown menu, select from the list below:

  • D Dealer system
  • I Importer system
  • B Importer/dealer system

    New start date from: This options enables the new specification/prices start data to be defined. By clicking the Down Arrow dropdown menu, select from the list below:

  • G Generation Start date
  • V View date
  • Provisional Pricing switched on: This option allows the system to raise a quote or order for a vehicle using a provisional price that will be renegotiated when the prices are available from the manufacturer.

    Factory option types: Enter the required franchise data option type . Any type entered will be considered a factory option.

    Note:Factory,Colours and Trims are mandatory option types.

    Build spec edit priority: The priority level required to edit build specification.
