
My Enquiries Tab
Note: For instructions on using the other tabs and shortcuts on this form please see the Introduction to My Desktop section.
The My Enquiries tab provides access to a list of showroom enquiry events, colour-coded as described in the Legend. To display the full details of an enquiry, right-click on an enquiry and select View enquiry. The system switches to the Showroom Module which can be used to view or edit enquiries. When finished the system returns to My Desktop with the customer's record displayed. The customer's record can also be loaded directly by left-clicking on the enquiry line or right-clicking and selecting View customer.
Tip: If you have any FSA Compliant Showroom companies right click on the required enquiry to view the duty of care statement - This option is only available in the UK.
The following fields are displayed:
- Ref.: The enquiry number from the Showroom module.
- Customer: The customer for whom the enquiry was made.
- N/U: The status of the car: New or Used.
- Vehicle (Stk. num): A short description of the car on which the enquiry has been made, with the stock number in brackets.
- Qty.: The number of vehicles in the quote. This field is blank for single vehicle quotes.
- Finance: The type of finance deal.
- Date: The date on which the enquiry was last edited.
- S: The status of the enquiry:
- A: Accepted
- C: Confirmed
- E: Enquiry
- I: Invoiced
- L: Lost
- O: Ordered
- Q: Quote
- X: Deleted
Tip: The list can be sorted by any of the above fields, by clicking on the column headings.
The Show enquiries field can be used to view other enquiries, or filter the list further. Selecting most of the following options causes the system to display extra form fields in which to enter parameters:
- In progress enquiries
- My enquiries: Selected by default.
- Today's enquiries
- For customer: Click the ellipsis button ... to search for a customer.
- For company: Click the ellipsis button to search for a company.
- For branch: Select a branch from the drop-down field if appropriate.
- For stock vehicle: Enter the Vehicle Stockbook number to display enquiries on a particular vehicle in stock. Press the Tab key to active this filter.
- Between dates: Enter start and end dates to display all quotes in a specific period. Press the Tab key to active this filter.
- At status: Select a status code, as displayed in the S column.
- With reference: Enter the enquiry number, as displayed in the Ref. column. Press the Tab key to active this filter.
- With trade-in registration: Enter the registration number of the customer's current vehicle to display all quotes including a trade-in on this vehicle. Press the Tab key to active this filter.
- With customer order number: Enter the Showroom order number to display associated enquiries. Press the Tab key to active this filter.
- Show all enquiries: Displays all enquiries since the last time the quote file was consolidated.
Tip: Right clicking on the required enquiry displays a sub menu with the options to View enquiry and View Customer. Closing the loaded
enquiry displays the customer record.
Note: In addition to the enquiry and Customer details if CAS Telephony is installed the sub menu will include a list of phone numbers. Selecting a number will dial it.
These numbers are home, work and mobile numbers from the Customer record.
