Create Stock Vehicles is displayed when you select the option from the CRM Stock Functions Menu.
Note:Create vehicle stock will use Franchise data from the currently mapped company if is more than one company there will be a pop up box will be displayed asking to choose from the required company.
This options allows a user to build a vehicle to required specifications and create a new vehicle record.
Franchise: Click the drop down search 
button to select the required franchise.
Model code: Click the drop down search button to select the required model of the selected franchise.
Model variant: Click the drop down search button to select the required variant of the selected model. Tab to continue.
Warning: At this point a new screen will prompt you to select the vehicle specification price. This option is explained in the option Spec/Price Generation. Select the relevant price generation and click OK.
Description: The description of the variant will be entered from the variant record entered, this can be changed if required.
Quantity: This refers to the number of vehicles to be created.
Tip: If more than one vehicle is required with the same specification then enter the amount required in this box, up to 99 vehicles of the same specification can be created at one time. If the colour and trim option of any of the multiple vehicles requires changing they can be changed on the Vehicle specific details form displayed by clicking the create button. Once a vehicles is created a pop up box will be displayed giving the individual vehicle number or if numerous vehicles created the range from and to.
Factory number: Enter a unique factory order number to identify the vehicle or if know a registration number can be entered. Any information entered in here will be used to reflect the vehicle registration number. Enter up to 12 characters.
Option for model range: Within this box a list of options types will be displayed dependant on the franchise data set up in Build Specification. Click on one of the types within to display a list of options under option description and cost price.
Option description: The description of the selected option within the selected type in the Option for model range.
Cost price: The cost price of the selected option within the selected type in the Option for model range.
Tip:Once you have selected the relevant type from the option for model options, a grid will be displayed next to it with the option description and cost prices, at this point click on the relevant option once to highlight for selection and a double click to select it onto the current specification. Dependant on the Franchise Data some vehicles may be default with some options already.

T: This refers to the type of the specification e.g. C for Colour, T for Trim.
Warning:The selling price and delivery lines are always left blank.
Description: The description of the specification line shown.
S: This is the source of the specification e.g. F fixed cost, S sales ledger, P purchase ledger, W Workshop/WIP, O outside purchase and D for discount.
A: The Analysis code is shown here.
Value: The invoice value held on Vehicle specification line detail
V: This refers to the VAT code held on the Franchise data option.
Discount: If the invoice source of data on the Vehicle specification line detail is D then any amount in the invoice value will be shown as a discount against the specification line.
Cost: Any estimated cost can be entered in the Vehicle specification line detail this will show until the actual cost is received. If the source of data is Fixed cost then the actual will always equal the estimate.
Net profit: Showing the net profit of the specification line.
Note: When the specification is displayed there will be a totals column at the bottom of the grid giving the totals for the Value,Discount,Cost and Net profit. If multi lines are displayed there will also be a scroll bar enabled if required.
When the grid is drawn displaying the current specification it is possible to right click to obtain one of two options.
Remove this option from the list: This will remove a specification line if required.
Warning: Selling price lines can not be removed.
Show line details: Will display the Vehicle specification line detail
Note:As with all Autoline software based on the priority of the user some of these fields in this option may not be available to edit.
This option will allow the Colour,Trim and Factory order number to be changed if multiple vehicle are being created, so that not every vehicle has to have the same details.
Note: This form is also displayed if the create button has been used from the Create vehicle stock main form and the colour and or trims have not been selected. At this point it gives the user the option to choose the required option.
Vehicles to be created
Number: This indicates the number of the vehicle to be created e.g. If there are five vehicles to be created each line would be unique one to five.
Colour: The selected colour or if not selected choose a vehicle by clicking on the specification line and double clicking to select/change a colour from the colour selection.
Trim: The selected trim or if not selected choose a vehicle by clicking on the specification line and double clicking to select/change a trim from the trim selection.
Factory order no: Factory order number already entered, this can be changed by selecting a vehicle line, amending adding from the Other section at the bottom of the form, tab off this to confirm entry.
Colours
Description: The colour description, if a vehicle is selected it is possible to add or change the colour of that vehicle.
Price: The invoice value of the colour.
Trims
Description: The trim description (If a vehicle is selected it is possible to add or change the trim of that vehicle.)
Price: The invoice value of the trim.
Other
Factory order number: Select a vehicle to add or amend the factory order number, this also doubles as the registration number.
Note: To confirm any changes the user must click the create button again, this will only be enabled once all vehicles have a colour and trim.
Buttons:
Cancel: Returns to the CRM Stock Functions Menu..
Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser.
Move up: Changes the line order of the specification.
Move down: Changes the line order of the specification.
Create: Click to create a new vehicle after options have been selected.
Note:If multiple vehicles are being created the Vehicle specific details from will be displayed allowing the user to change the Colour, Trim or Factory order no selection for any of the vehicles that are about to be created. The create button will need to be clicked again once these have been selected.
