The CRM Stock functions menu is displayed by selecting the Stock functions option from the CRM Main Menu.
The Stock functions menu is designed to create new vehicles and bring them into stock with the ability to make consignment and adaption postings into the nominal ledger. After these processes it will be possible to update vehicle selling prices from the current franchise data files, register the pre invoiced vehicles and carry out any write up/down's making the relevant postings into the accounts.
Note:This function will only be displayed when using CRM stocking.
Create stock vehicles: Allows users to create new vehicles stocks choosing from the available options within Franchise Data Build Specification.
Book in stock vehicles: Allows users book / bring in the vehicle into stock, this process is enabled and will only show on the menu by switching off the Consignment process enabled parameter in system parameters.
Consignment stock: Taking a created vehicle and booking the vehicle into stock making consignment postings in accounts. This process is enabled and will only show on the menu by switching on the Consignment process enabled parameter in system parameters.
Adopt stock vehicles: Taking a created vehicle and booking the vehicle into stock making Adoption (fully paid) postings in accounts. This process is enabled and will only show on the menu by switching on the Consignment process enabled parameter in system parameters.
Register invoiced vehicles: Update the registration details on an invoiced vehicle.
Update vehicle selling prices: Allows users to update the selling price of vehicle specification to be in line with the current price found in the franchise data files.
Write down facility: Write up or down vehicle values to match the figures suggested by an installed valuation system. See the Write Down Facility section of the Valuation Systems help files.
Update to final prices: Allows prices to be update using the provisional pricing routine.
