Register Invoiced Vehicles

Register invoiced is displayed when you select the option from the CRM Stock Functions Menu.

This is separate process to input the details of registration (number and date) and delivery (date) after invoicing, which can also be used to set the warranty expiry date. The idea is once you have created a Stock vehicle, booked it in, and invoiced it, it can then be registered.

Multiple vehicles can be registered from this screen, select the vehicle in question, the registration number, date registered and the delivery date fields become enabled, you can also optionally update the warranty dates based on the registration date. The system will check franchise models and variants for the standard warranty periods.

Note:The vehicle status must not be equal to 'S' stock, a vstok record exists and the account status is either I or X.

Keys

The key is split into three colours, these individually indicate the different status of each vehicle line being displayed.

Waiting to be registered: Vehicles that have not been registered are marked in black.

Updated and ready to be registered: Vehicles that have been updated but not processed are marked in blue.

Unable to lock the vehicle: Any vehicle records that may already be in use by another user are displayed in grey.

Vehicle details

Vehicle number: The unique vehicle record number.

Description: The description of the vehicle selected.

Note:These two boxes will only ever display information and are populated when a vehicle line is selected.

Registration number: The registration number of the vehicle if previously entered on creation, this is also populated when creating the vehicle and entering the factory order number.

Delivery date: Enter the required delivery date.

Date registered: Enter the required registration date.

Update Warranty dates? Enter a tick here if you wish to update the warranty dates, checking Franchise data from standard warranty periods and using the date entered to calculate the date.

Buttons:

Process: Will confirm any changes made.

Cancel: Returns to the CRM Stock Functions Menu..

Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser.

Restore: Is only enabled when data is changed or added within the vehicle details, clicking on restore will clear and reset the data changed.
