Warning: Caution should be taken not to run this program unnecessarily, as this could cause the period shift to be carried out prematurely, and essential sales analysis to be lost.
The Sales_analysis_end_of_period_run form is displayed when you select the End of day period option from the CRM Sales Analysis Menu.
This program will be called by the end-of-day process automatically when the end-of-day is run as an end of period. It can however be selected from the menu manually should the need arise, if for instance the end-of-day routine is not going to run. The sales analysis file holds details for the current day in isolation, as well as the month to date and the previous twenty-four months.
BUTTONS:
OK: Displays a further form with Continue, Help and Abort buttons.
Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser.
Exit: Returns you to the CRM Sales Analysis Menu without deleting the days sales analysis figures.
Note: It may now be necessary to re-start the daemon task.
Continue: Causes the daily figures to be deleted in preparation for the start of the next day, and in addition moves the monthly sales analysis along by one period and clear down the current period figures in preparation for the start of the next period.
Abort: Returns you to the CRM Sales Analysis Menu without deleting the days sales analysis figures.
Note: It may now be necessary to re-start the daemon task.
Done: Returns you to the MK SALES ANALYSIS MENU after deleting the days sales analysis figures.
