Fastfit Labour Line Creation

Fastfit Assistant is used to speed up the process of adding labour lines to a Fastfit WIP by displaying a form prior to the standard labour line creation form. This is achieved by displaying only the fields that are relevant to the Fastfit labour line, some of which will have default values already completed.

When you book a labour line out in a Fastfit department, the Fastfit Reporting Calendar is displayed at the bottom of the labour line creation form, subject to the calendar being turned on in the Fastfit Reporting parameters. For this form to be displayed, the department letter on the WIP header must refer to a Fastfit department.

Note: Fastfit assistance (If installed) is integrated and activated when setting the WIP line to a status of Complete or Reminder within the Vehicle Health Check Summary function

To add a labour line to a WIP in a Fastfit department:

  1. From the Service Point-of-Sale form load the RTS (Repair-Time Schedule) code you require onto the WIP.

If the RTS code you have selected is for a labour line not normally used in a Fastfit department (that is, the Fastfit Reporting parameter Labour franchise code does not match the labour franchise code on the RTS code) you can change the department letter.

The Fastfit labour line creation form is displayed. The Fastfit Reporting Calendar is displayed at the bottom of the form if it has been selected in the Fastfit Reporting parameters.
