This form's title and use depends on the context:
As the Purge Settings (Autoline) form, it is displayed when you click the Autoline purge options... button on the Miscellaneous options group of the File Transfer Editor or when you click the Edit purge options... button on the Autoline Purge Options tab of the file transfer creation wizard.
As the Purge Settings (Remote System) form, it is displayed when you click the Remote purge options... button on the Miscellaneous options group of the File Transfer Editor.
As the Purge Settings (PC) form, it is displayed when you click the Edit purge options... button on the Remote Purge Options tab of the file transfer creation wizard.
It enables you to specify any file purging to be carried out after completion of a file transfer.
Purge parameters:
Purge Enabled: A tick enables file purging
Note: Unticking Purge Enabled clears any Purge mask you have built.
Number of days files to be kept for: Length of time that records are kept before purging
Note: Setting Number of days files to be kept for to zero inhibits file purging.
Purge mask: File specification on which the purge acts
Tip: Type the Purge mask or use the Auto settings and/or Time settings buttons to build it automatically. Click the Validate button to see an expanded version in the Mask validation field.
Auto settings:
Company: Appends ^COM to the Purge mask, interpreted as the company initiating the transfer, for example company 01

Parameter...: Enables you to add a parameter to the Purge mask you are building by selecting one from the dictionary structures
Xfer directory: Sets the path to the standard MS transfer folder by populating Purge mask with ^XFR, which is the short code for the MS transfer directory, for example /user1/fran/.../data/xfer.
Note: Clicking Xfer directory or Workspace overwrites any existing content of the Purge mask.
Workspace: Sets the path to the workspace folder by populating Purge mask with ^ENV(WORKSPACE), which is the short code for the standard workspace directory, for example /user1/work.
Time settings:
This group enables you to append a date and time to the Purge mask. For example, if you click Century, Year, then Month, the string %cc%yy%mm is appended to the content of the Purge mask. If you then click Validate, that part of the Purge mask is displayed as, for example, 200604 (century 20, year 06, month 04) if it is April 2006.
Century: Appends the current century to the Purge mask as the text %cc. When the record carries out a file transfer, it interprets this as the current century, for example 20.
Year: Appends the current year as the text %yy. When the record carries out a file transfer, it interprets this as the current year, for example 06.
Month: Appends the current month as the text %mm. When the record carries out a file transfer, it interprets this as the current month of the year, for example 04.
Day: Appends the current day to the Purge mask as the text %dd. When the record carries out a file transfer, it interprets this as the current day of the month, for example 15.
Hours: Appends the current hour as the text %hh. When the record carries out a file transfer, it interprets this as the current hour of the day, for example 19.
Minutes: Appends the current minutes-past-the-hour as the text %MM. When the record carries out a file transfer, it interprets this as the current minute of the hour, for example 35.
Seconds: Appends the current seconds as the text %ss. When the record carries out a file transfer, it interprets this as the current second of the minute, for example 00.
Day number: Appends the current day number as the text %dn. When the record carries out a file transfer, it interprets this as the current day of the year, counting from January 1st.
Julian day: Appends the current Julian day number as the text %jd. When the record carries out a file transfer, it interprets this as the current day of the year, counting from January 1st.
