To locate a vehicle:
From the Service Point-of-Sale form, select GM Vauxhall from the franchise drop-down list and select Menus from the New product drop-down list.
The Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench form is displayed.
Click the Menu Pricing icon on the Shortcuts sidebar.
Note: The Shortcuts sidebar is dynamic, so only installed products are displayed on it. Which icons are on it depends on the configuration of your system.
The Vauxhall Menu Pricing Selection form is displayed.
Click the Select button in the Customer and vehicle group box.
The Vehicle Enquiry form is displayed.
This form enables you to locate a vehicle if you know all or part of its registration, chassis or vehicle number.
Search:
Text box: Either Registration number, Chassis number, Vehicle number or Search string, depending on which of the Search type option buttons is selected:
Registration number: Enter a registration number that matches a vehicle already in CRM to load the vehicle onto the WIP when adding the menu to the WIP.
Chassis number: Enter a chassis number that matches a vehicle already in CRM to load the vehicle onto the WIP when adding the menu to the WIP.
Vehicle number: Enter a vehicle number that matches a vehicle already in CRM to load the vehicle onto the WIP when adding the menu to the WIP.
Note: You can enter a partial registration, chassis or vehicle number and click Submit. This returns a list of matching vehicles for you to select from.
Manual selection: When this option button is selected you can make a manual choice by choosing items from the drop-down lists in the Vehicle selection group box.
Vehicle details:
Registration number: Registration number of the selected vehicle.
Chassis number: Chassis number of the selected vehicle.
Engine number: Engine number of the selected vehicle.
Vehicle number: Vehicle number of the selected vehicle, followed by the model, CC, trim and body type.
Vehicle selection:
You can choose from these drop-down lists when the Manual selection option button in the Search group box is selected.
When you have supplied as much information as you can in this group box, you can select the appropriate option button to search by Registration number, Chassis number or Vehicle number, with the searches restricted by the information you have given. You should provide as much information as possible as this gives you more accurate searches.
Manufacturer: Always Vauxhall.
Model: List of Vauxhall models.
Model year: List of years for the vehicle, restricted by your choice of model.
CC: Engine capacity for the vehicle, restricted by your other choices.
Body type: Body type for the vehicle, restricted by your other choices.
Trim: Trim option for the vehicle, restricted by your other choices.
Transmission: Transmission option for the vehicle, restricted by your other choices.
Fuel: Fuel option for the vehicle, restricted by your other choices.
Engine: Engine type for the vehicle, restricted by your other choices.
Show vehicle selection codes: Resets all the fields in the Vehicle selection group box.
Buttons:
Help: Displays this help topic in a browser.
Reset: Resets all the fields in the Vehicle selection group box.
Cancel: Ignores the changes you have made and returns you to the Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench form.
OK: Returns you to the Vauxhall Menu Pricing Selection form.
