To launch the Vauxhall Menu Pricing Selection Interface in Point-of-Sale:
From the Service Point-of-Sale form, select GM Vauxhall from the franchise drop-down list and select Menus from the New product drop-down list.
The Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench form is displayed.
Click the Menu Pricing icon on the Shortcuts sidebar.
Note: The Shortcuts sidebar is dynamic, so only installed products are displayed on it. Which icons are on it depends on the configuration of your system.
The Vehicle Enquiry form is displayed.
Complete the form and click OK.
The Vauxhall Menu Pricing Selection form is displayed.
Job selection:
The job selection tree shows available menus for the currently selected vehicle. The data comes from the web service provided by Clifford Thames. The tree has smart filtering that highlights recommended jobs with a green tick. This is based on the vehicle age and mileage. Other menus are highlighted with a red cross.
Select the required menu and it is added to the Selected menus grid on the right-hand side of the form. The maximum number of menus you can add is ten.
Show codes: Select this checkbox to display the option codes in brackets. This is useful when contacting support.
Customer and vehicle:
Customer: Name of the currently selected customer.
Vehicle: Make and model of the currently selected vehicle.
Button:
Select: Displays the Vehicle Enquiry form.
Selected menus:
Grid:
Description: Describes a job.
Note: Items shown in red do not have stock available.
Prices: If the symbol in the Prices column is a green button, clicking it displays details of the available prices for the corresponding job. Select a price to add the menu to the queue. A grey button in the Prices column means that there are no available prices.
Add-ons: If the symbol in the Add-ons column is a green button, clicking it displays details of the available add-ons for the corresponding job. Select an add-on to add the menu to the queue. A grey button in the Add-ons column means that there are no available add-ons.
Note: Add-ons can be automatically added by enabling the parameter Automatic add-ons.
Delete: Click the wastepaper basket symbol in the Delete column to remove the corresponding menu from the queue.
Price: Price for the job.
Menu details:
Description: Description of the job highlighted in the Selected menus grid.
Difficulty: Level of complexity for the job (Simple, Normal or Complex).

Code: Code number for the job.

The calculation of the allowed time for labour lines takes into account the selection of labour time units, set in the Menu Pricing parameters.Type: Category for the items for the job highlighted in the Selected menus grid (plug symbol for a part, oil can symbol for a fluid or clock symbol for a job).
Code: Code reference for the part or job.
Description: Describes the part or job.
Quantity: Quantity of the item required for the job highlighted in the Selected menus grid.
Buttons:
Help: Displays this help topic in your default browser.
Refresh: Collapses the list of menus in the Job selection group.
Support: Displays a menu of options to assist in identifying problems:
View XML history: Displays an XML/HTML file viewer. Each SOAP request and response is saved in an XML file in the directory shown at the bottom of the form. The file is stored in the following format: PartitionNumber_MethodName_Type.xml. Filters at the top of the form enable you to locate a specific file more quickly. Click the filename to display the XML data.
View XML for selected menu: Displays the full XML data for a given menu, including part numbers, RTS codes, quantities, descriptions and prices.
View items array: Displays an array containing each item in the Selected menus queue.
Note: The Items Array form is used to help with support and debugging, and is not available to users.
Cancel: Returns you to the Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench form without loading menus.
OK: Returns you to the Vauxhall Aftersales Workbench form with your chosen menus loaded.
