This form is displayed on selecting the Add code button on the Customer Concern Codes form. It enables the adding of a new CCC and Description pair on the Customer Concern Codes form.
Note: It is unlikely that you will need to make changes to the customer concern codes file unless advised to do so by the manufacturer. Any changes you make will be overwritten the next time the file is updated by the manufacturer.
Group: Represents the category into which the customer concern falls:
Body
Powertrain
Chassis
Electrical
Administrative
Tip: Use the Group down-arrow button
to select from a drop-down menu of the above options.
Heading: Refines the categorisation of the customer concern. For example, with Chassis selected in Group, available Headings include:
29 Noise (excluding wind noise)
30 Brakes
31 Tyres/Wheels
32 Leaks (Not including water leaks)
33 Vibration
34 Steering
35 Suspension/Ride

New code: Customer concern code, identifying a fault that can give rise to a repair under warranty
Tip: Three characters, letters and/or numbers, must be entered in New code for the OK button to become active (after TABbing out of the field).
