Customer Concern Codes Form

There are two variants of this form, lookup-mode and edit-mode, differing in appearance only in their displayed buttons:

Customer concern codes are entered for each task in point-of-sale and are usually submitted with a warranty claim. The codes represent customer complaints and are normally supplied by the manufacturer.

Code Group:

The code group represents the category into which the customer concern falls:

The selected Code groups radio button dictates the available Section headings. For example:

Code group Default Section heading
Body 10 Paint finish on body parts
Powertrain 01 Engine
Chassis 29 Noise (excluding wind noise)
Electrical 36 Climate control
Administrative 28 Administrative

Section heading:

The selected Code group dictates available Section headings, which refine the categorisation of the customer concern. For example, with the Chassis radio button selected in Code group, available Section headings include:

Tip: Use the down-arrow Drop-down to select from a drop-down menu.

The selected Section heading dictates the contents of the Available customer concern codes grid.

Available Customer Concern Codes:

CCC: Customer concern code, identifying the fault giving rise to the repair under warranty

Description: The nature of the fault giving rise to the repair under warranty

The selected Section heading dictates the contents of the Available customer concern codes grid. For example, with the Chassis radio button selected in the Code groups group box and 35 Suspension/Ride selected in the Section heading group box, Available customer concern codes include:

Buttons (Lookup):

Accept code: Inserts the customer concern code represented by the selected grid line into Customer concern code on the Ford Warranty Claim Information form's Repair details tab

Help: Displays this help page

Reset: Sets the Code groups radio button to Body

Cancel: Returns you to the Ford Warranty Claim Information form's Repair details tab

Buttons (edit mode):

Exit: Returns you to the Warranty file maintenance menu

Help: Displays this help page

Add code: Enables the adding of a new CCC and Description pair

Add heading: Enables the adding of a new Section heading
