Maintenance facilities are available that allow you to create and maintain parts, labour and menu items on the campaign file, and view a list of vehicles for which specific campaign work is complete.
To access campaigns:
The Recall Campaigns menu is displayed.
The system prompts you to select the Point-of-Sale company.
The Recall Campaign Maintenance form is displayed.
The Recall Campaign Maintenance form is displayed when you select the Campaigns option from the Recall Campaigns menu. Within this form you can view campaign details, maintain parts or labour items for a campaign, and view a summary of completed campaign work for a list of vehicles.
Toolbar
: Returns you to the Campaigns menu.
: Allows you to create a new Campaign.
: Allows you to open an existing Campaign.
: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.
Action
Campaign code: The DAF Trucks campaign code.
Tabs
Header tab: Holds generic details about the campaign.
Vehicles tab: Allows you to view a list of vehicles for which the campaign is valid.
Generic details about the campaign are held within the Header tab of the Recall Campaign Maintenance form.
General
Text: A description of the campaign.
Severity: A code that denotes the severity of the recall.
Status: The status of the campaign:
- C: Completed
- L: Loaded
- O: Outstanding
Document ref: The reference number of the manufacturer's campaign document.
Selling dealer: The dealer that sold the vehicle.
Language: The country code.
Dates
Start date: The campaign start date.
Expiry date: The date by which you must complete the campaign work.
Note: If the Expiry date field is blank, there is no restriction on the completion date.
Warranty expiry date: The warranty expiry date of the vehicle.
The Vehicles tab of the Recall Campaign Maintenance form lists all the vehicles for which the campaign is valid.
Filter
The filter option allows you to limit the display of vehicles by entering the Chassis number or the Registration number.
Field Descriptions
The following details are displayed for each record.
Chassis: The chassis number (VIN) held in the marketing vehicle record.
Reg number: The vehicle registration number.
Status: The status of the campaign work.
- C: Completed
- I: In Progress
- O: Outstanding
Company:The POS company.
WIP No: The WIP No that the recall has been loaded to.
Date: The day the recall was loaded.
Note: Right click on the vehicle record to add a new vehicle, amend or delete records.
PUSH BUTTONS
View: If a campaign has been completed, this option allows you to view additional details about the campaign work for a selected vehicle.
