In order to submit a claim to Renault, you must capture a record of the sale of parts to Trade Partner members from the Autoline system. Currently, Renault require that you submit this information once a month, and will advise you of the deadlines.
When you perform a capture, the system compiles into one transaction file a list of all Trade Partner transactions recorded between the dates that you specify. You must download this file to floppy disk and forward it to Renault. The data contained in the file varies according to the agreed market.
When a capture is performed, the system also produces a report which you are given the opportunity to print. The following details are recorded in the report:
To capture/download trade partner transactions, & print/view transactions:
Note: Before you perform a capture, ensure that you insert a floppy disk in the disk drive of the PC.
Select the Trade partners/promotion codes option from the RENAULT OPERATIONS menu.
The Trade Partner maintenance menu is displayed.
Select the Trade partner print and export option.
You are prompted to select the Stock Management (SM) company.
Select the SM company.
The Trade Partner Capture form is displayed.
Enter the From (start) and To (end) date from which to generate transactions, and click Scan.
The software scans the system for any trade partner transactions between the dates that you specified. When the scan is complete, a dialog box is displayed with the message Scan Complete.
The system returns you to the Trade Partner Capture form.
Click Export.
The system downloads the transaction file, displays the message File transferred successfully and returns you to the Trade Partner Capture form.
You can now take either of the following steps:
To print a report of Trade Partner transactions, click Print.
The system prints the report and displays a dialog box with the message Report Complete.
To view trade transactions included in the exported file, click View.
The View trade transactions form is displayed.
This form is displayed when you select the Trade partner capture option from the Trade Partner maintenance menu. From this form you can capture

Scan for transactions:
Scan: Scans the system for any trade partner transactions between the specified dates.
Report:
Print: Prints a report of Trade Partner transactions.
Export:
Export: Downloads the Trade Partners transaction file to floppy disk.
View:
View: Enables you to view trade transactions included in the exported file.
This form is displayed when you click the View button on the Trade Partner Capture form. From this form you can view trade transactions included in the exported file.
Tradeno: Trade Partner membership number
Customer: Name of the Trade Partner
Wipno: Work-in-Progress (WIP) number on which the parts were sold
Partno: Part number sold to Trade Partner member
Quantity: Quantity of parts sold
Total: Total value of parts sold
Invoice: Invoice number
Date: Date on which the parts were invoiced
