Cloning a Menu

The clone routine allows you to create a dealer-specific menu from an existing menu. It copies parts and labour from the existing menu, allowing you to amend the header, parts, labour, linked jobs, prices and notes for the new menu.

Note: This facility is only enabled if your manufacturer allows you to create and maintain menus.

To copy a menu:

1. From the VOLVO UK OPERATIONS menu, select the GPSS option.

   The Menu pricing maintenance menu is displayed.

2. Select the Menu pricing maintenance option.

   If there is more than one Point-of-Sale (SO) company, the system prompts you for the SO company.

3. Select the SO company.

   The Menu Pricing Maintenance form is displayed.

4. In the Menucode field, enter the code of the menu that you want to copy.

   Tip: Click the Ellipsis button [...] to search for a menu.

   The menu is defaulted into the form.

5. Click the button.

   The following message is displayed:

   Clone current menu?
   Yes   No

6. Click the Yes button.

   The details allocated to the original menu are defaulted into the Menu Pricing Maintenance form

7. Complete the details for the new menu on the following tabs:

   • Header
     
   • Labour
     
   • Parts
     
   • Linked Jobs
     
   • Prices
     
   • Notes

8. Click the button.

   The Variant Details form is displayed.

9. Select the variant to which the menu applies, and click OK.

   The changes to the dealer-specific menu are saved.
