The Statistics tab allows you to view the results of database analysis.
Information
Total number of vehicles: The total number of vehicles on the marketing database.
Number of Volvo vehicles: The number of Volvo vehicles on the marketing database.
Number requiring update: The number of vehicles on the marketing database that need to be updated.
Matches
Reg number/blank VIN: If the registration number matches but the dealer's chassis/VIN number is blank, the vehicle will be updated.
Reg number and VIN: If the registration number matches, and the 17-character VIN matches, the vehicle will be updated.
Reg and part of VIN: If the registration number matches, and the 6-digit chassis number held on the dealer system forms part of the 17-character VIN held on the Volvo data, the vehicle is updated.
VIN only: If the registration number does not match but the 17-character VIN does, the service variant code is updated, the registration number is not.
Database accuracy
Prior to update: The percentage of Volvo vehicles whose VIN and SMG match the vehicle load file.
If update applied: The percentage of matches if the update is applied.
