Reprint a NL Daybook

The Reprint NL daybook option allows you to reprint any current Daybook which has already been printed. It also functions as a simple and powerful search of Daybooks.

This option allows Daybooks to be reprinted only if the Clear processed batches option on the Nominal Ledger or in the End-of-Day run has not been run.

To Reprint NL daybook:

  1. From the Autoline Master menu select the Nominal Ledger option and the company you require.

  1. Select Miscellaneous options option.

  1. Ensure that a suitable printer is selected, by clicking on the Change button, and check that it is on line.

  2. Select the Reprint NL daybook option.

The Reprint Daybook form is displayed.

Reprint Daybook Form

On entering the option, you will be required to fill in the Daybook number.

A search of Daybooks is available, by clicking on the button. If this option is taken, a window prompts you to enter a daybook number.

The logic here is that whilst you may not know the exact daybook number, you may know that it is somewhere 'around' a particular number, hence entering a number and clicking OK will prompt the search window to display all daybooks, allowing the user to select the one they actually want. In the search window, each Daybook is identified by sequence number, user ID,terminal, date, time, document input batch number, the source module of the system from which the batch was entered (e.g. PC for Purchase Control module), and the Daybook sequence number.

Identifying the Daybook

When you select a Daybook from the search window, Autoline will present a range of non-editable information fields from the Daybook on the screen.

Printed details: Daybook date and time, printed by, period and year, and terminal number are displayed.

General: The status, daybook type, IDJ batch number , input batch, who input the daybook, and on which terminal. The Daybook source [module] and source company is displayed. The Daybook is identified by a sequence number, and the number of items and pages.

When you have verified that the Daybook shown is the required one, click on the Re-print push button. Otherwise, click on the Exit button to leave this option, or the Help button to access the on-line help facility.
