This option is used to process any cross divisional journal entries, and to show the true value of debt owing to each division.
To process Inter Division Journals [IDJ]:
From the Autoline Master menu select the Nominal Ledger option and the company you require
Select the Miscellaneous options option
Ensure that a suitable printer is selected, by clicking on the Change button, and check that it is on line
Select the Inter-Division Journals option
The IDJ form is displayed:
BUTTONS
Print [i.e. process the Inter Division Journals], and providing the NL.daily process has been run, the user will be prompted to either Print Daybook or Exit without printing daybook, and finally, to Cancel or Re-print daybook. If there are no cross division entries to process, the previously described message will not be displayed and taking the option to Print will simply result in the user being returned to the Miscellaneous menu.
Exit:This option returns the user to the Miscellaneous Menu.
