This option ensures that all account codes are valid. It checks within the system parameters for valid account codes, all subsidiary tables where account codes occur, e.g. VAT codes and multi-currency codes.
When Autoline is installed there is a system parameter which is set to a tick [for yes] to set the system in set-up mode. Once all expense codes, cost centre codes and account codes have been created, and all subsequent tables have been created, the Verify chart of accounts option is taken. If verification is successful, the consultant or user will be prompted to take Autoline out of set-up mode. This will change the check box from a tick to unset.
Note: The option Verify chart of accounts is only run until a successful verification has taken place whilst in set-up mode, then is usually incorporated into the Timed Operations chain so it runs every night.
If multi-currency codes have to be created once the check box has been unset for No, the user/consultant will have to change the set-up mode parameter to a tick to allow new codes to be created in Add/modify currency codes. Verify chart of accounts will have to be run and, once successful, the prompt will reappear to take the system out of set-up mode.

1. From the Autoline master menu select the Nominal Ledger option and the company you require.
