Detail Button

When enabled (by selecting an item in the Payments grid), the grid displays important payment information such as date, payment type, document number, reference, daybook number, allowance amount, allocated amount, and the amount of the transaction in base currency. Clicking the Detail button displays a new form giving full details of the selected payment record.

This form includes further information about the transaction that is not displayed on the row detail within the Payments grid. This detail includes due date, document date, daybook item, source company, source module and archive reference.

Click the Close button to return to the Payments tab.

Show Allocs Button

When enabled, clicking the Show Allocs button displays a new form giving full details of the allocations relative to the selected payment record. This form is split into two grids. The top grid shows all allocations with the same payment reference to the selected payment record. The bottom grid shows the detail of all the original documents that relate to the allocations listed in the top grid.

Note: The records in both grids are colour coded. Green indicates that the records being displayed are from the archive files. Grey indicates that the records are on a different account to the currently displayed account.

The top grid displays the same information as the Payments tab grid, with the addition of an Account code column that holds the account code to which the payment record was originally posted.

The bottom grid displays the same information as the Transactions tab grid, with the exception that the Account total column is replaced with an Account code column. Again this holds the account code to which the original document was posted.

NL Trans Button

When enabled, clicking the NL Trans button gives you the ability to drill into the Nominal transaction files to see the detail of the postings made in the Nominal Ledger.

Filter Button

When enabled, clicking the Filter button gives you the ability to search on the payment reference of your choice, and Autoline scans the necessary files and presents you with all records that match the search criteria. Click the OK button when you have entered a payment reference and want to start scanning. Click the Cancel button if you want to return to the Payments grid.

Reset Button

When enabled, clicking the Reset button resets any filters or selections previously made, and returns you to the Payments grid.
