The Transaction Filter form is displayed when the Filter button is clicked within the Selection group box on the Transactions tab. The selection fields in the form are of two types.
The first type of field is the 'from-to' field, which allows you to select documents within certain ranges. Fields of this type are:
Document date
Due date
Posting date
Document number
Click the Ellipsis button within any of the date fields which displays an electronic calendar to help make your selection.
The second type of field is the masking, which allows you to select specific values within the fields of the records. Fields of this type are:
Document type
Customer (supplier) reference
Misc. reference
(Source) Branch
Amount
Daybook number
Daybook item
Source module
Status
Settled flag
Debt flag
In these fields, it is possible to filter transactions by specifying individual characters, which can be entered in a given position on mask fields. As long as the asterisk *** characters which signify a wild card in a position on the mask are intact, the search accepts any character in that position.
The remaining fields are either specific code or value fields. Some of the specific codes are defined by the user in other parts of Autoline. The value fields are either a monetary value or just a number such as the Daybook number . The fields that are system-defined are listed below with the available codes and descriptions.
