Transaction Status Reports

The Transaction status report form enables you to print or display a list of dispenser transactions grouped according their statuses. It also enables you to schedule production of such a list as a timed operation or set it up as a batch process.

Printing a List of Dispenser Transactions

To print a list of dispenser transactions grouped according their statuses:

  1. Select the Transaction status report option from the second Operations menu.

    The Transaction status report form is displayed.

  2. Select Print as the Output type, enter a Point-of-Sale company number in Enter P.O.S. company or blank (or leave it blank to use the default), and click OK.

    The report is generated and a dialog box is displayed containing totals of Records read, Records printed, and Records suppressed.

  3. Click Close.

    You are returned to the second Operations menu.

Creating a List of Dispenser Transactions as an HTML Page

To create a list of dispenser transactions as an HTML Page grouped according their statuses:

  1. Select the Transaction status report option from the second Operations menu.

    The Transaction status report form is displayed.

  2. Select HTML as the Output type, enter a Point-of-Sale company number in Enter P.O.S. company or blank (or leave it blank to use the default), and click OK.

    The report is generated and a dialog box is displayed containing totals of Records read and Records exported.

  3. Click Browse.

    The report is displayed in a web browser (as a separate process in parallel with Autoline).

  4. Switch back to Autoline and click Close on the dialog box.

    You are returned to the second Operations menu.

Displaying a List of Dispenser Transactions

To display a list of dispenser transactions grouped according their statuses:

  1. Select the Transaction status report option from the second Operations menu.

    The Transaction status report form is displayed.

  2. Select Display as the Output type, enter a Point-of-Sale company number in Enter P.O.S. company or blank (or leave it blank to use the default), and click OK.

    The report is generated, its content displayed in an Autoline form containing a text box. Its Status bar contains totals of records read and displayed.

  3. Click Close.

    You are returned to the Transaction status report form.

Scheduling Production of a List of Dispenser Transactions

You can only schedule production of a list of dispenser transactions if you select an Output type of Print or HTML.

To schedule production of a list of dispenser transactions grouped according their statuses:

  1. Follow the process for printing a list of dispenser transactions, selecting an Output type of Print or HTML, but do not click OK.

    The Transaction status report form is displayed with the Schedule and Add to batch buttons enabled.

  2. Click Schedule.

    The Timed Operations Schedule form is displayed.

  3. Set up the transaction status report as a timed operation and click OK on the Timed Operations Schedule form.

    The report is set to run at the interval you set and you are returned to the second Operations menu.

Transaction Status Report Form

This form is displayed when you select the Transaction status report option from the second Operations menu. It enables you to print or display a list of dispenser transactions grouped under headings indicating their statuses. Each line contains the WIP number to which the transaction is linked, the vehicle registration number, date dispensed, and quantities of fluid dispensed, issued, adjusted, and any variance.

Output type: Format in and/or device on which the report is displayed. One of:

Enter P.O.S. company or blank: Point-of-Sale company number for which the report is generated

PUSH BUTTONS:

OK: Generates a list of dispenser transaction summary lines of the selected Output type for the selected Point-of-Sale company

Schedule: Enables you to set up the printed report as a timed operation

Add to batch: Enables you at add the report to a batch group and to select the priority of the user login required to run it

Note: The Schedule and Add to batch buttons are enabled only when you select an Output type of Print or HTML.
