This process is commonly used where there are many parts lines on a WIP with the same or differing statuses. Subject to the normal rules applied from the POS Parameters State Map the user is able to mass change all part lines of one parts status code to another parts status code. One or more status groups can be changed to either the same status or to different statuses all on the single form.
To display the Convert Multiple Parts Status Lines form:
Access the Point-of-Sale WIP.
Add a number of part lines onto the POS grid at different parts statuses, some of which will have the same statuses.
Right click the parts header status column on the POS grid and select the menu option Convert multiple parts status lines.
The Convert Multiple Parts Status Lines form is displayed.
The Convert multiple Parts Status Lines form is displayed when you right click the parts status column header and when there is at least one parts line on the wip not at parts status X. From this form you can change the status of many lines from one status to another (valid change) status.
Order Status: There is at least one parts line on the wip at this status.
No. of Lines: This is the total number of lines on the wip at this status.
New Order Status: This column is used to enter the new status code to set the lines on the wip.
