The Inter Department Communication (IDC) review requests function provides list of all the requests in the IDC system and enables the display / maintenance of individual requests.
Note: The displayed request information is pre sorted into priority sequence VHC, High, Medium ,Low priority.

This form is displayed when you click Point-of -Sale > Point-of-Sale > Links > Inter Department Communication.

Request Area:
This area displays a list of all of the requests within the Inter Department Communication system and shows the following information for every request.
WIP: Displays the WIP number associated to the request.
Department: Displays the department associated with the request.
Account: Displays the sales ledger account code from the WIP.
Customer: Displays the name of the customer linked to the WIP.
Registration: Displays the registration number of the vehicle associated to the WIP.
Chassis: Displays the chassis number of the vehicle associated to the WIP.
Operator: Displays the ID code of the operator who created the request.
Date - Time: Displays the creation date / time of the request.
Required: Displays the date the parts are required.
Supply: Displays the date the parts are to be supplied.
Confirm: Displays the date the supply of parts has been confirmed.
Status: Displays the current status of the request.

Priority Area Radio Buttons:
This area contains radio buttons that can be used to refine the visibility of Inter Department Communication request based upon priority
Low Priority: List display and display requests at low priority.
Medium priority: List and display requests at medium priority.
High priority: List display and display requests at high priority.
VHC priority: List display and display requests at VHC priority.
To open / maintain a request:
Double clicking a request line within the Request area activates the WIP details function for the selected request.
To filter by owning department:
Click the Drop Down 
button located next to the Owning department entry field to display a list of the available departments.
Clicking a department from the displayed list populates the Inter Department Communication Review Requests form's department entry field and refreshes the displayed information based upon the department filter selection.
To filter by request status:
Click the Drop Down button located next to the Status entry field to display a list of the available request stati.
Clicking a status from the displayed list populates the Inter Department Communication Review Requests form's status entry field and refreshes the displayed information based upon the status filter selection.
To view / maintain requests messages:
Clicking the Notes image activates the Message function for the selected message.
To go to the requests WIP:
Right clicking the WIP of the required request line enables the progression from the Inter Department Communication system to the POS WIP.

Clicking any of the Radio buttons within the priority area of the Inter Department Communication Review Request's form toggles the
To organise information by column:
Right clicking any of the column headings within the Inter Department Communication Review Requests form activates a sort of the displayed information based upon the ascending / descending content of the selected column.
