This program can be launched manually from SO SYSTEM MAINTENANCE or automatically in Timed Operations. The program will run down the SO.labor file looking for labour lines with time taken which have not been invoiced, it then looks in the WL.clock file and stores all the labour work-in-progress for each active WIP, for each resource and each day in this file.
The work-in-progress figures are then displayed in the WL Numbers form on the Past Performance tab under the headings of Opening and Closing WIP. The first time you enter the Numbers form the Opening and closing figures will be displayed for today and the last 18 days for all resources, you can then filter on each individual resource to get their work-in-progress figures.
Note: The Opening and Closing figures will only be displayed for each day if it has been set to update in Timed operations. A manual update can be be done from the Update labour WIP option in SO SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
When running the Update labour WIP option manually you are shown the process date that the work-in-progress figures will be updated to, Click the OK button to run the update and the figures will be displayed in the WL Numbers form.
