There is a check box on the Standard RTS codes file (MS.rtsco) in Company 00 called Generic rtscode. If this box is ticked, the system updates the Allowed units field on the RTS code record with the average time allowed based on all the times taken for that RTS code in POS. In this case, you can use a default RTS code which will be more accurate.
To rebuild generic RTS times:
The POINT OF SALE menu is displayed.
Select the Reports & enquiries option.
The SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu is displayed.
Select the Rebuild generic RTS times option.
The Rebuild Generic RTS Code Times form is displayed.
Select the RTS codes that you want to rebuild.
Tip: To select all the items in the list, tick the All check box.
Enter the number of weeks over which you want to rebuild the generic RTS code times.
Click the Rebuild button.
The Rebuild Generic RTS Code Times form is displayed when you select the Rebuild generic RTS times option from the SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu. From this form you can rebuild generic RTS code times for a specified number of weeks.
Weeks: Enter the number of weeks over which you want to rebuild the generic RTS code times. By default, this field is set to 26.
All: Tick this check box to select all RTS codes.
PUSH BUTTONS:
Rebuild: Rebuilds the times for the selected generic RTS codes for the specified number of weeks.
Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.
Exit: Returns you to the SO REPORTS AND ENQUIRIES menu.
