This program is designed to provide specific customer or product discount group analysis in a graphical format. It allows you to view and compare actuals and budgets based on turnover, profit amount, profit percentage, discounts or costs.
To view the sales analysis:
From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Point-of-sale option and Company you require.
The POINT OF SALE menu is displayed.
Select the Parts sales analysis option.
The SO PARTS SALES ANALYSIS menu is displayed.
Select the View sales analysis option.
The Parts Sales Analysis form is displayed.
On the Selection tab, select one of the following radio buttons, and complete the related fields:
Within the Figures group box, select one of the following radio buttons:
Turnover
Profit
GP%
Discounts
Costs
To review the results, display the following tabs :
The Parts Sales Analysis report form is displayed when you select the View sales analysis option from the SO PARTS SALES ANALYSIS menu. From this form you can view sales analysis by customer or product discount group.
Tip: The Selection tab must be completed before you are able to view the other three graphical tabs.
Select one of the following radio buttons, and complete the related fields:
By customer: Select this option if you want to view parts sales analysis for a specific Sales Ledger account, and complete the following two fields:
Customer: Enter the Sales Ledger account number (mandatory) of the customer for which you want to view parts sales analysis.
Product: Enter the product discount group (optional) for which you want to view customer-specific parts sales analysis, else leave this field empty to view all product discount groups.
By product: Select this option if you want to view parts sales analysis for a specific product discount group, and complete the following two fields:
Product: Enter the product discount group (mandatory) for which you want to view the parts sales analysis.
Customer: Enter the Sales Ledger account number (optional) of the customer for which want to view product-specific sales analysis, else leave this field empty to view all customers.
Select one of the following radio buttons to determine which figures are displayed for your chosen criteria:
From the Actuals tab you can view the last 12 months' actuals for your chosen criteria in a bar chart. The vertical axis displays the value of the transactions. The horizontal axis displays the months in which the sales took place.
From the Budgets tab you can view the last 12 months' budgets for your chosen criteria in a bar chart. The vertical axis displays the value of the budgeted sales. The horizontal axis displays the months in which the transactions took place.
From the Comparisons tab you can compare the last 12 months' actuals against the last 12 months' budgets for your chosen criteria in a bar chart. The vertical axis displays the value of the transactions. The horizontal axis displays the months in which the sales took place.
