Recording Sensitive Movements

This program can be configured in Timed Operations or run manually to copy the movements of sensitive parts from the parts log transaction file (SO.logpa) of each Point-of-Sale branch into the centralised movements file (00.SO.sentv). It also removes over-age records from the centralised movements file, where the period of months to record and monitor movements (as defined in 00.SM.sentv) has been exhausted.

To record sensitive movements:

1. From the Rev.8 Master Menu, select the Point-of-sale option and Company you require.

   The POINT OF SALE menu is displayed.

2. Select the System maintenance option.

   The SO SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu is displayed.

3. Select the Record sensitive movements option.

   You are prompted to select one of the following options from the menu:

   • Exit

   • Continue

4. Select the Continue option and click OK.

   The following message is displayed:

   Done

5. Click OK.

   You are returned to the SO SYSTEM MAINTENANCE menu.
