This form is part of the sequence of forms for creating a new vehicle quotation. See the New Vehicles section for instructions and general tips on this process. It can also be accessed by selecting Finance company from the Edit menu of the Enquiry Builder.
This form is not displayed if only one finance scheme was selected on the previous form.
The Basic estimate details are displayed at the top of the form, containing a price breakdown of the quotation as currently specified. This is provided for your information and cannot be edited. The Total price (excluding VAT), the VAT, the Total purchase price (including VAT), Trade-in allowance and Finance Settlement (outstanding finance on trade-ins) combine to make up the Balance displayed in red.
Up to three finance schemes, as selected on the previous form, are displayed in a grid below the basic estimate details.
To select the desired finance scheme, left-click on the column header where the schemes code is displayed. The whole column will be highlighted. Then click the Next button to add the scheme to the current quotation.
The leftmost column contains labels for the elements of the schemes whose figures are displayed in the other columns, as described below. The values displayed are defined for each scheme in the Finance maintenance form. However some can be amended by clicking on the value you wish to change. The value of a particular element of all schemes can be set by clicking on the label in the leftmost column.
Modifications are subject to restrictions set up for each scheme in the Finance maintenance form. The system recalculates payments accordingly and displays the results immediately.
Note: Right-clicking in the finance comparison grid will display Rental in Advance. This can then be switched on, if the user has the access and the commission calculation is difference in charges in the finance schemes. (If installed)

It displays the implications of the change if the recalculation modifies either the period of the loan or the payment terms. Select which modification you would like to apply by clicking on the appropriate line then clicking OK. Alternatively, select Current details to abandon the changes.
