The log file search can be used to display or print certain criteria from a enquiry at any stage of it's existance .e.g. which user added what accessory line at what time. Enter the required information into the relevant area and click display on screen or print to selected printer. Reset criteria can be used to clear the selected information and start again. The results will be displayed in the Log file transactions grid.
Log number: A unique sequential number given to each transaction, at this point you may only know this from a report previously printed.
Enquiry number: Enter the enquiry number of record required this will be printed on a quote or order.
Stock: Enter the stock number of the vehicle if known.
Field name: The field name is either the product reference of an accessory e.g. ACCESSORY (Carpet Mats) or a certain bit of information e.g. QUOTE (The quotation number) held in a file.
Entry date: Enter a From and or To date.
Entry time: Enter a From and or To time.
Partition number: This is a number given to identify the computer terminal being used when a transaction is processed
User ID: The individual sign in code given to all users.
The results from the search will be displayed withing a grid format, as below

Stk: Vehicles stock number.

Date: Date of the transaction.
Time: Time of the transaction.
Audit: A unique number given to each transaction for audit purposes.

Old Value: The original value / description when entered on an enquiry.
New Value: The new value / description if the old value has been changed, stored once the enquiry has been saved.
User: The individual sign in code given to all users. This will only show the user ID of the person singed onto the computer terminal at the time creation / amending not necessarily the person using the terminal.
#PART: The partition number of the computer terminal that the work was used in the transaction.
M: The course module of the transaction e.g. SR for Showroom or MK for CRM.
Note: An entry in red indicates an enquiry has been specifically chosen for deletion.
Status Bar: The status bar is located in the bottom left of the screen and displays the a message when searching or when the search for any criteria is complete.
Buttons:
Exit: returns to the SR System Maintenance Menu.
Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser.
Display: Displays the required results in the Log file transaction grid.
Print: Prints the required results to the selected printer.
Reset criteria: Sets all the criteria back to blank for a fresh search.
