Provisional pricing

The finalised prices are usually for vehicles ordered around four months earlier, so any quotes or orders are provisionally priced, and when the final prices are available, the customer renegotiates the deal and proceeds to a finally accepted order and then invoice.

The Final Pricing option is only populated if provisional pricing has been switched on in the DD parameters. Also in the SR parameters the Maximum provisional status needs to be set and the Maximum final price difference %, both are found in the vehicle tab.

Warning: The Final Pricing screen will only display if provisional pricing is being used.

When presented with the Final pricing form you can click on the Display only icon to just display the enquiry. If the changes presented on this form are acceptable click the Reprice and proceed icon to accept the new information and update the enquiry accordingly or you can click on the Store as a lost sale icon and store the enquire as a lost sale.

Tip: Any specification lines are changed become highlighted in light grey and an icon displayed to confirm the action taken, a No longer included indicates a removed item, a Option added to identify a newly added option, Price change represents an existing option that has been repriced or Possible error. Check Franchise Data icon tells that there is a error in franchise data.
