Backoffice Mode

When Backoffice mode is enabled, the following features are added:

• Rate Optimization is enabled.
• Deal Optimization is enabled.
• The Custom Entry Vehicle option is enabled.
• The base rate is displayed as well as the rate charged when comparing finance schemes.
• The user that reserves vehicles is displayed when an enquiry is created on that vehicle
• On the Specification Confirmation form,
  • Cost prices on selection options can be edited,
  • Hidden specification information is displayed, in italics, overriding the option to hide it in the Franchise Data module.
• Trade-in's can be written up or back from the final enquiry screen.
• On list of stock vehicles you will see profit and stock age info.
• (H)eld from invoice items are shown on confirm vehicle display and accessory selection displays.
• Sales price and sales margin on trade-in's are shown when known.
• Cost prices displayed within the Reprice and Franchise data has changed forms.

It can be enabled from many of the forms accessed from the Showroom Customer Enquiries form, by selecting the Backoffice mode option on either the Edit or View menu, or clicking the icon.
