This form is part of the sequence of forms for creating a new vehicle quotation. See the New Vehicles section for instructions and general tips on this process. As well as the menu options described on that page, this form adds an extra Accessories and Options menu, an option to Store configuration as top 10 vehicle (on the File menu) and an option to change which Prices are displayed (on the View menu).
The details of the options specified on the previous forms are displayed in a grid, together with the vehicle itself and any delivery charges. The following information is displayed:
Description: Click the column heading to hide/reveal the option code as well as the description.
Type: The category of option (e.g. Factory fitted options, Colours, Trims, etc.)
Cash / Weekly / Monthly: The price of each option, including or excluding VAT depending on the Including VAT option on the Edit menu. At the end of the list the total price is displayed in blue. The Prices option on the View menu contains a sub-menu for selecting which price figures (cash, weekly, monthly) are displayed, see below.
Any standard options for this vehicle are included in the Standard and fitted options line, which is displayed at the top of the list, if applicable. To view these standard options, click the + symbol on the same line.
If Backoffice mode has been enabled, hidden specification information is displayed, in italics, overriding the option to hide it in the Franchise Data module.
The price of each option can be edited by left-clicking on the corresponding line in the grid. The Edit Option Notes And Pricing form is displayed.
The Accessories and Options menu, which is unique to the Specification Confirmation form, contains shortcuts back to all the options forms which have been previously completed. See the Vehicle Options section for instructions on the use of those forms.
The Manually enter lines option displays the Manually Entered Accessories form which allows the user to add options that are not currently held in the Franchise data.
Note: The manually entered lines facility has to be set up in System parameters and in the Franchise Data module. This is usually done during system installation.
The Change line order option displays the Resequence Lines form, which can be used to change the order in which options are displayed by moving them from the 'Lines not sequenced yet' list to the 'Lines in their new order' list.
