This form is displayed by clicking on options listed on the Specification Confirmation form. There are two possible tabs, as described below, however the Pricing tab may not be displayed if the selected option has a fixed price, or you do not have the priority required for editing prices.
The text area on this tab can be used to enter as many notes as you like about the selected option. Alternatively, the URL (i.e. the address) of a web page can be entered. By pressing the Tab key, a button labelled HTML is displayed. Click this button to convert the text area into a web browser displaying the specified URL. To be able to edit the notes again, click the Text button.
A third option is to enter the path to a file on the local PC currently in use. The path must be prefixed by file:/// in order for the file to be recognised (e.g. file:///C:\My Documents\Document1.doc). This technique can be used to display files such as PDFs, Word documents and PowerPoint presentations, as long as the appropriate plug ins have been installed on your local copy of Internet Explorer. However, it will not work if subsequently viewed from a different computer.
The fields on this tab can be used to update the price of the selected option manually.
Note: The tab is not displayed for standard Factory Fitted Options. Any Dealer Fitted Options that have an Invoice status of P show the Pricing tab in display mode only.
This item can appear on the main invoice: Untick this box to omit the option from the main invoice. This option is only available when using MKV mode.
Basic price: This field can be edited to raise or lower the pre-tax price of the selected option.
Discount: Enter the discount amount or percentage. Only available if the Discount method parameter in Showroom is set to L for Line discounting on each Showroom Specification line. This is also populated if using when a discount it entered in the enquiry Purchase Summary.
Cost price: If Backoffice mode is enabled, this field can be edited to change the profit on the selected option.
Note: (1) Cost prices on the Selling price and Delivery specification lines can not be amended on any vehicle. (2) The cost prices of any Stock vehicle specification lines can not be changed in Showroom and should be changed directly from the Stockbook record .(3) Cost prices on Pricebook enquiries can be changed on all lines except Selling price and Delivery specification as above in point (1).
VAT code: Select the VAT code for the selected option.
VAT amount: The VAT on this option calculated based on the values entered and selected above. This field is read-only.
Cartax: This option is not used in the UK.
Line total: The total of the basic price and the VAT amount. This field can be edited and to raise or lower the price of the selected option.
Return to default price: Resets the above fields to restore the original price and VAT code.
Menu Icon Description View > Previous Cancel any notes or pricing changes and return to the Specification Confirmation form. View > Next Save your changes and return to the Specification Confirmation form. Help > Help Display this help page. Alternatively, press F1.
