The process of selecting options for a vehicle is included in the sequence of forms when creating a quotation for both new and used vehicles, or by selecting Wizard from the Options sub-menu of the Edit menu in the Enquiry Builder form.
The Salesperson can be forced to select options for a vehicle via the wizard when creating a quotation for the first time (if Installed).
Where multiple options are possible ticks are displayed to mark selections. If the selection of a particular option necessitates or excludes other options, for example because it is included in a pack, the appropriate actions are taken automatically by the system. To view these relationships before selecting an option, right-click to display the Option Dependencies form.
Which forms are displayed, and the order in which they are displayed, is determined by the vehicle (in stock or not in stock, new or used) and settings in the Franchise Data module. All possible options forms are listed below:
The following features are common to all options forms:
Along with the Description, each option is listed with a price, including or excluding VAT depending on the Including VAT option on the Edit menu.
