From the Showroom Main Menu select Quotations to display the Showroom Customer Enquiries form.

Note: The Stock number or Commission number button is displayed on the Showroom Customer Enquiries form depending on the Search method set up in the General tab of SR system parameters.
This form is displayed when you click Stock Number button or Stock Search button on the Showroom Customer Enquiries form.
Note: The Stock number form may be displayed in one of two formats depending on the usage of Vehicle stockbook or CRM files. Below are the fields listed on the advanced search.
Exact
Stock / Commission number: Either Stock or Commission number depending on the SR system parameter Search method option on the General tab
Registration: Whole registration number or the first few letters or numbers to search (maximum 12 characters)
Last-6 chassis: Last six letters or numbers of the chassis number to search
Vehicle
New/Used: Use the drop-down
search button to select New, Used or Any.
Franchise: Use the ellipsis
search button to select from a list of available franchises.
Model: If a franchise has been chosen use the ellipsis
Variant: If a model has been chosen use the ellipsis
Colour: Click the drop-down
Trim: Click the drop-down
Current models only: Check this box to include only current models in the corresponding list of codes.
Current variants only: Check this box to include only current variants in the corresponding list of codes.
Limits
Year: Use the drop-down
Mileage: Use the drop-down
Price: Use the drop-down
PUSH BUTTON:
Weightings (If Installed) Allows a vehicle search to be performed on similar vehicles.
Reset all criteria: Resets all the fields in the Exact, Vehicle and Limits group boxes to their default values
Includes
This group box lists options called generic option categories. Click the options to include them in the search. When the results grid is populated, the options included are displayed on the grid under the option names to confirm that the selected options are part of this vehicle.
Results Grid
Tip: A green arrow on the header, in the results grid, indicates that a reverse sorting facility is available. Click the required heading to sort in either alpha or numeric order depending on the data. Click again to sort in reverse.
Stk#: Stock number from either Vehicle Stockbooks or CRM Vehicle Stocking
Year: Model year of the vehicle, for example 2
Vehicle: A description of the vehicle
D: Number of doors on the vehicle
CC: Capacity of the vehicle, for example 1598 for a 1.6 litre vehicle
Colour: Colour of the vehicle
Miles: Last recorded mileage
Price: Selling price of the vehicle
Reg: Vehicle registration number
DIS: Relates to the database code or days in stock, as described in Confirm Vehicle Selection
Option name: Each option on the Includes list is included here
Note: The search criteria, for matching available stock, can be user defined using NCS (New Car Search format) if switched on in the Showroom System Parameters, Other tab, (New or Used vehicle user defined display?). Switching between New and Used vehicles in the Vehicles tab changes the display of search criteria results.
PUSH BUTTONS:
Help: Displays help on the current application in your default company browser
Exit: Returns you to the Showroom Customer Enquiries form
Find: Performs the search according to your chosen criteria and displays the results in a grid format
Tip: Choose the appropriate search criteria. If you are using Exact search do not select any other options. If the criteria does not match the known information on the vehicle record, no results are shown.
This form is displayed when you click the Commission number button or Commission Search button on the Customer Enquiries - Choose a Search Method or Recall a Quote form.
Warning: If using the search method for commission number with the advanced searches, the form will have the same search criteria as noted above, except that the words Stock number in the Exact details will be replaced with the words Commission number. The button on the Customer Enquiries - Choose a Search Method or Recall a Quote form will still display the words Stock search.
Vehicle information
Commission Number: Enables an existing vehicle to be selected by its commission number. The commission number for the vehicle will have been previously entered and held on the CRM vehicle record .
Stock Number: Enables a specific existing vehicle, selected by the new or used radio button, to be recalled by the stock number
PUSH BUTTONS:
Help : Displays help on the current application in your default company browser
Exit: Returns you to the Showroom Customer Enquiries form
Next : Displays the Confirm Vehicle Selection form for the pre-selected stock number or commission number of the vehicle. This button is not enabled until a stock number has been entered.
Tip: If you are using Vehicle CRM stock this form only displays the Stock number field and no new and used stock options.
