Update Vehicle Selling Prices

This form allows you to update the selling price of vehicle specification lines to be in line with the current prices in Franchise Data. You can select specific or all the new / used vehicle records.

To update vehicle selling prices:

  • New vehicles:
    • Enables a new vehicle to be updated.

  • Used vehicles:
    • Enables a used vehicle to be updated.

  • Specific vehicle:
    • Enter vehicle record number.

  • Search vehicle by other criteria: Enables a more detailed search.

  • Progress codes MOCA:
    • Enable the following Progress codes to be displayed to be updated.

  • M = Memorandum
  • O = Ordered
  • C = Consigned
  • A = Adopted

  • Specific progress code: Enables any of the above progress codes to be selected singularly.

  • Location:
    • Displays vehicle locations to be selected, can be left at 'All Locations'

  • Franchise:
    • Displays vehicle franchises to be selected, can be left at 'All Franchises'

  • Model:
    • Displays vehicle Models to be selected, can be left at 'All models'

  • Sub Models:
    • Displays vehicle Sub Model groups to be selected, can be left at 'All sub_model group'

  • Variant:
    • Displays vehicle Variants to be selected, can be left at 'All variants'

  • Body Style:
    • Displays vehicle Body styles to be selected, can be left at 'All body styles'

  • Fuel:
    • Displays vehicle fuel types to be selected, can be left at 'All fuel types'

  • Model year from:
    • Enter year from and year to.

  • Search:
    • Enables from the criteria selected the search to begin

    When search has completed a table will be displayed, showing the following information:

  • Vehicle: Displays the stock number.
  • Description: Displays the Vehicle description.
  • P: Displays Progress Code.
  • S: Displays Source Code.
  • Effective: Displays the date in stock.
  • Con, Date: Displays the Consignment date (if applicable.)
  • Model Year: Displays the model year of the vehicle.

  • Click on the 'Inc'. field within the table, to select individual vehicles displayed.

    • OR

  • Right Click to display 'select all' and Preview/Edit price Change buttons if all vehicles are to be selected and updated.

  • Click on the Process button

    • Click here to Preview/Edit price Change

    This will now update the vehicles selected with the up to date values held within franchise data and return you to the vehicle stockbook menu. If for any reason the vehicle cannot be updated a message will prompt the user.
