Progress of Tasks on WIP

To check progress of tasks on WIP:

Note: The Progress button is activated when accessing the Workshop Launch Control form from a WIP with tasks that have already been loaded.

  1. Open a new WIP.

  2. Enter Labour details into the main Point-of-Sale.

  3. Click the Load icon.

    Tip: Alternatively, select the Load option from the Workshop menu.

    The Workshop Launch Control Form is displayed.

  4. Click the Progress button.

    The Progress of Tasks form is displayed.

  5. Select the required line and click the Clockings button to view the clock history.

    Tip: Alternatively, double-click the left mouse button on the line for the required task.

Progress of Tasks Form

The Progress of Tasks form is displayed when you click the Progress button in the This Job group on the Workshop Launch Control form.

Status

Allows identification of the colours used in the fields on the Progress of Tasks...grid.

Colours

Description

The task is awaiting a Technician.

This task has been stopped awaiting Labour, Parts, Authority or Others.

The task is currently being worked on by a Technician.

The task has been completed by the Technician.

The task has been completed, the Invoice has been raised but the vehicle has not yet been checked out.

Line: The line number for this task.

Task: Text from the first line of text of the RTS code.

Skill: The skill required to complete this task.

Allowed: The time allowed for this task.

Technician: The technician who worked on this task. Where the task was worked on by more than one technician this will show as multiple technicians.

Taken: The taken time clocked for this task. Click this field to open the Clock History form.

PUSH BUTTONS:

Re-align: Allows you to bring tasks that are booked in and have not been started yet into the current day and dropped into the Un-assigned tasks form.

Help: Displays help on the current application using the default browser.

Close: Returns you to POS.

Clockings: Displays the clocking history for a required task.
