Upload pictures form

The Upload picture form allows the user to transfer the technician pictures from their PC to the WL pictures gallery on the server. The picture will be renamed to have the same name as the code field on the Resource record when it is transferred.

Note: The pictures must be stored in the "PCWORKDIR","c:\rev7work" which is set in the StandardEnvTXT, also the pictures must be .jpg.files.

To check the directory has been setup go to the Resource record in workshop loading and click on the Picture button to open the Upload picture form and the directory will be shown in the Pictures on PC field.

To Upload a picture for a Resource record:

1. Select the Resource option form the workshop loading menu.

2. Highlight the resource that you want to upload a picture for and click the Amend button.

3. Click the Picture button to open the Upload picture form.

4. Select the picture ( jpg ) from the left hand side of the form ( Pictures on PC ), to check the picture before uploading click the Preview button and this will take you to the pictures directory.

5. The Transfer button will now be available to upload the picture. The picture name will be changed to the resource code on the resource record.

6. The picture is then added to the list on the right hand side of the form ( Pictures on server ), click OK to upload the picture to the Touch screen.

Push Buttons

Preview: Click the Preview button to take you to the pictures directory.

Transfer: The transfer button will be enabled when a picture has been selected from the Pictures on PC field to transfer.

Delete: The Delete button will be enabled when a picture on the server has been selected, the picture will also be displayed to check that it is correct before selecting the Delete button.
