To prevent selected acknowledgements from updating VSB until later, you can put them on hold for actioning in the future.
Tip: To merely omit selected acknowledgements from updating VSB on one occasion, unselect their tick boxes in the Unprocessed list. See step 1 in the procedure for updating VSB with order acknowledgements.
To prevent acknowledgements from updating VSB:
Follow the checking for new order acknowledgements procedure.
Unprocessed acknowledgement records are listed in the Vehicle Order Acknowledgements form's grid (indicated by the Unprocessed radio button being selected).
To prevent acknowledgements from updating VSB until a later date, select their lines by either a left-double-click (toggles the line in/out) or select the Select acknowledgement option from the line's right-click menu. Similarly, the entire list can be included or excluded by selecting Edit > Select all 
or Edit > Deselect all 
from the menu bar or toolbar, respectively.
Tip: If records of status other than U are listed in the grid, select the Unprocessed radio button or select View > Unprocessed from the menu bar. Acknowledgements whose check grid column is ticked are included in the subsequent holding action.
The grid lists lines representing records to be included in your next action (ticked) and lines to be omitted from that action (unticked).
Click the Hold push-button or select Edit > Hold acknowledgements from the menu bar.
The selected acknowledgements' St fields are set to O, the Progress bar indicating how much of the process has been completed as an approximate proportion of the whole. On completion, an Information dialog displays one of the following messages:
INFO: Acknowledgements held
INFO: All selected records were successfully held
When you close the message box, you are returned to the form with the grid containing lines representing acknowledgements on hold, as indicated by the On-hold radio button being automatically selected.
Note: To process acknowledgements in the On-hold list, using them to update VSB, you do not remove them from the list. Instead, you update VSB directly from the On-hold list.
