Before you load a campaign in Point-of-Sale, ensure that the default parameters are set up correctly.
To change the default parameter settings:
The Recall Campaigns menu is displayed.
The system prompts you for the Point-of-Sale (SO) company.
The DAF Trucks Recall Campaigns setup form is displayed.
The Campaign Parameters form is displayed.
Within the Change Parameters tab of the DAF Trucks Recall Campaigns Setup form, you must set up the default parameters correctly before you use campaign data in POS.
Default SL account: The default account on the Sales Ledger used for Warranty. From this account, the system determines which labour type code to use.
RTS franchise: The Manufacturer system from where we get the recall RTS code.
Recall RTS code: The default RTS code used when there are no labour items associated with a recall (non-coded labour).
Default part prefix: Franchise code that we add to the part number.
Note: Not currently used by DAF Trucks because parts are not supplied on data.
Active: Allows dealers to switch off Recall Campaigns for a particular POS company.
