Additional competitor information form

Part of the Contact code mapping for the MBVS-Z export is the Additional compaditor information. The Contact code mapping can be set-up in the MBVS-Z set-up utility. To enter the MBVS-Z set-up utility, you must:

• Select from the Main menu the Country Specifics option, combined with company DE.
• Select from the German Country Specifics Main menu the Menu - CRM option.
• Select from the CRM Main menu the Menu - EKS option.
• Select from the EKS Main menu the MBVS-Z set-up utility option.
• The MBVS-Z set-up utility form is displayed.
• Select from the Set-up section the Contact code radio button.
• To add the Additional competitor information, click the first column of a contact mapping record in the grid.
• The Additional competitor information form is displayed.

All options on the form are explained below:

File menu

• Save: Selecting the Save button saves the changes.
• Exit: The Exit option allows you to exit the Additional competitor information form and return to the MBVS-Z set-up utility.

Edit menu

• Clear all: Selecting the Clear all icon from the Toolbar clears all selected Main compeditors, Type 1 informations and Type 2 informations from the grid.

Help menu

• Help: Selecting the Help button opens the helpfiles.

All icons in the Toolbar have the same functionality as the menu options described above.

Set franchise options

The grid displayes all Franchise details records from the Franchise Data Franchise file (DD.franc) and gives the possibility to tick them as Main compeditor, Type 1 information or Type 2 information. All types selected will be in the matching dropdown to select when adding a new contact with the contact code to a Target or a Company in the Autoline CRM module.

• Franchise letter: The short franchise letter of the franchise.
• Description: The description of the franchise.
• Main compeditor: Tick the column to select the franchise as a Main compeditor for this contact type.
• Type 1 information: Tick the column to select the franchise as a Type 1 information for this contact type.
• Type 2 information: Tick the column to select the franchise as a Type 2 information for this contact type.

Mandatory settings

• Main compeditor mandatory: Tick to force the user to enter this additional information within the extra CRM screens.
• Type 1 information mandatory: Tick to force the user to enter this additional information within the extra CRM screens.
• Type 2 information mandatory: Tick to force the user to enter this additional information within the extra CRM screens.
