The MBVS-Z export needs a mapping between the Autoline codes and the MBVS-Z to be able to export correctly. The mappings can be set-up in the MBVS-Z set-up utility. To access the MBVS-Z set-up utility, you must:
The MBVS-Z set-up utility enables you to set-up the following:
Note: The interface considers more then one Cost center of the same type (having the same department) added to the target (customer) as an unclear situation.
Before the MBVS-Z interface can create export files, the maping tables must be set-up. There are 6 mapping tables that have to be set-up. All are explained below:
To set up the mapping for Cost Centers select the Cost centre radio button from the Set-up section. The grid is filled with all records in the CRM Cost Centre code file (MK.ccent). Select after that the Edit mode icon from the Toolbar to activate the edit mode. The Edit mode is activated if the last column of the Set-up mapping grid has a different color and is editable.
Enter the MBVS-Z Cost centre codes in the last column of the grid to map them to the Autoline cost centre codes. When using the tab key to edit the column after the value of a cell in the last column has been changed, the background of the whole grid row will be set to the background edit color to indicate that the mapping has been changed. Also the Save icon in the Toolbar is enabled.
If a value is changed the Undo icon in Toolbar is enabled as well. The Undo option only works BEFORE you save the changes.
To save the changes, select the Save icon from the Toolbar.
To set up the mapping for Contact codes, select the Contact code option from the Set-up section. The grid is filled with the records in the Autoline Contact type codes file.
Because an Autoline contact code can be a Trigger or a Result code in MBVS-Z, the grid has been extended with two colums to add mapping codes.
To set up the mapping for Contact codes, you must activate the edit mode first by selecting the Edit mode icon from the Toolbar. After selecting this option the last two columns of the grid will be editable:
If an already mapped MBVS-Z code is entered in the Trigger or Result column, a warning message is displayed and the duplicate values are displayed in the grid in red. The Duplicate value entered warning message does not hold you back from saving the mapping or creating an MBVS-Z export.
Another part of the Set-up of the Contact code is the Additional competitor info. The Additional competitor info can be set-up by clicking first column of the grid of the Contact mapping record. The Additional competitor info form is displayed.
This form enables the user to set-up the Main competitor, the Type 1 information and the Type 2 information Franchises, which can be selected on the Additional Competitor information form when adding a new contact. If the Main competitor, the Type 1 information and the Type 2 information are set-up on the contact, these fields can be entered if a new contact is created for a customer (target) within the Autoline CRM module.
To set-up the Main competitor, the Additional competitor info, you must:
Note: Tick the * all franchises record to activate all franchises as a Main competitor, Type 1 information or Type 2 information.
Note: Tick the mandatory field to force the user to enter this additional information within the extra CRM screens.
Note: The Clear all settings option from the Edit menu will reset all the settings.
After saving the Additional competitor information, you will return to the MBVS-Z set-up utility form. To save the Contact code mapping record, select the Save icon from the Toolbar.
If the Additional competitor information of a Contact code mapping record is set-up, the first column displays an icon.
To set up the mapping for Fuel types select the Fuel type radio button from the Set-up section. The grid is filled with all records in the Franchise Data Fuel types file (DD.fuelt). Select after that the Edit mode icon from the Toolbar to activate the edit mode. The Edit mode is activated if the last column of the Set-up mapping grid has a different color and is editable.
Enter the MBVS-Z Fuel type codes in the last column of the grid to map them to the Autoline Fuel types. When using the tab key to edit the column after the value of a cell in the last column has been changed, the background of the whole grid row will be set to the background edit color to indicate that the mapping has been changed. Also the Save icon in the Toolbar is enabled.
To save the changes, select the Save icon from the Toolbar.
To set up the mapping for DC Salesman numbers, select the DC Salesman radio button from the Set-up section. The grid is filled with all records in the Mercedes-Benz users file (MB.MS.users). Select after that the Edit mode icon from the Toolbar to activate the edit mode. The Edit mode is activated if the last column of the Set-up mapping grid has a different color and is editable.
Enter the DC Salesman number in the last column of the grid to map them to the Autoline users. When using the tab key to edit the column after the value of a cell in the last column has been changed, the background of the whole grid row will be set to the background edit color to indicate that the mapping has been changed. Also the Save icon in the Toolbar is enabled.
To save the changes, select the Save icon from the Toolbar.
To set up the mapping for Main competitors, select the Main competitor radio button from the Set-up section. The grid is filled with all records in the records in the Mercedes-Benz Chassis prefix file (MB.MS.chass). Select after that the Edit mode icon from the Toolbar to activate the edit mode. The Edit mode is activated if the last column of the Set-up mapping grid has a different color and is editable.
Enter the MBVS-Z Main competitor code in the last column of the grid to map them to the Autoline code. When using the tab key to edit the column after the value of a cell in the last column has been changed, the background of the whole grid row will be set to the background edit color to indicate that the mapping has been changed. Also the Save icon in the Toolbar is enabled.
To save the changes, select the Save icon from the Toolbar.
To set up the mapping for Cost center suspension codes, select the Cost center suspension codes option from the Set-up section.
Setting up of the suspension codes is not setting up a mapping between Autoline codes and MBVS-Z codes. In contrast to the other set-up, the suspension codes entered here will be available in the dropdown selection box in Autolines CRM module if the customer type of a cost center is set to the status X-Record for deletion.
After selecting the Cost center suspension codes option when doing an initial set-up, the grid will be empty.
To add new Suspension codes to the system, you must:
To delete Suspension codes, exit the Edit mode. Select the suspension codes that must be deleted from the grid and select the Delete suspension code icon from the Toolbar. After the lines have been deleted from the grid, select the Save icon from the Toolbar to save the changes.
Note: To delete multiple suspension codes, select the grid lines by pressing the CTRL or SHIFT key while selecting a row.
If changes were made to a mapping and if another mapping type is selected within the Set up section, a warning message will be given "Settings have been changed. Save changes?":
This option allows you to create MS/MB detail records for CRM records, if no MS/MB detail record is available for a specific CRM record. In the Tools menu you will find the option to select for what type of CRM record a MS/MB detail record should be created.
First select what type of records to create, before the Create MS/MB details records option can be selected. The type of records that can be selected are:
Note: If new MS/MB company or MS/MB target records were created, an MB internal customer number is handed out when creating the records. This is only done if the MBVS-Z interface is activated on the system.
This option sets the default Cost centers to export to MBVS-Z per target or company. The default is ONLY set if there is a clear situation. In case of an unclear situation, an entry is written to the log file.
The Populate MK shadow files option creates the empty MK shadow files: **.MK.targt.de, **.MK.compy.de, **.MK.vehic.de, **.MK.tarcc.de and **.MK.conta.de.
Note: Setting up the Mapping tables has to be done once but if new Autolines codes are added or if Autoline codes are deleted, the mapping tables must be changed accordingly!
With this option the logfile can be viewed after running the Set default CC's process.
