Communication type

As explained before, the Mercedes-Benz Communication program will be used to transmit the export file to the Smart CRM database.

To transmit the file, the Mercedes-Benz Communication program needs a Communication Type. To set up the Communication Type, you must:

• Select from the Main menu Manufacturer Systems option, combined with company MB.
• Select from the Mercedes-Benz Main menu the Menu - Utilities option.
• Select from the Mercedes-Benz Utilities menu the Communication option.
• The Communication form is displayed.
• Select from the Insert menu the New type option.
• The Communication Types form is displayed.

Complete the Communication type and make sure that the type is entered Communication type parameter of the Smart parameters.
