Automatic Validation

If a user is authorized to have Automatic validation, it is possible to validate the address after it is entered.

In the Address validation parameters can be set up at what moment the address must be automatically validated.

To start the Automatic Address Validation, you must:

• Have a Company ot Target record in Amend mode on the screen in the Marketing module.
• Edit the address.
• If you tab out the field that is set in the parameters, the validation is automatically started.
• It seems that the address validation interface gives more priorities to the entered street name and house number then the postcode.
• In this case the correct postcode for the street name and house number is displayed.
• Select the Accept button to take over the correct address.
• After having the correct address taken over to the Target record, a check is done on target records with matching postcodes.
