If your manufacturer does not supply a supersession file, but you have a supersession number on your price file, a facility is available that allows you to build a supersession chain from the master price file. You should carry this out on set-up and each time the manufacturer issues an update to the master price file.
Tip: Even if the manufacturer does supply a supersession file, you can still use this option to build a supersession chain from the latest price file if required.
To build a supersession chain:
The Price file menu is displayed.
The Build supersession chains form is displayed.
The system builds a supersession chain and displays the following message:
File build OK
