Updating the Stock File

A facility is available that allows you to update the prices on the stock file from the master price file. This is normally performed after you have uploaded a new release of data to the Autoline system.

To update the stock file from the price file:

1. From the MERCEDES-BENZ OPERATIONS menu, select the Price file menu option.

   The Price file menu is displayed.

2. Select the Update stock from price file option.

   The Stock file update from price file form is displayed.

3. Select the company (or companies) and fields on the stock file that you want update.

   Tip: All fields are selected by default. Position the cursor over any record that you do not want the system to update and single-click the left mouse button.

4. Click the Update button.

   A progress of the update is displayed. When the update is complete, the following message is displayed:

   Stock file updates completed OK

5. Click OK.

   You are returned to the Price file menu.
